Here comes the odd part, along with this group of 4 posters, comes the 5th, simply named "W_R". If a poster asks why they need a run coverage just to beat a boss or ignore a chest, MSK will hound them until they get the coverage, flooding their thread until it's posted. When their run coverage is incorrect (as it always is), he posts the suggestion on doing the right run coverage. No Upgrades? Post your coverage first and he'll dictate if you're good enough to handle that

Even something as innocent as not picking up X amount of red orbs is undesired and you NEED his permission for this offline single player game to do so. To which he is asking for the poster to write a report of EVERY ACTION they plan to take EACH LEVEL, failure to do so disappoints him, and if you go longer than one day not posting your run coverage he will post multiple threads goading the poster into making their run coverage.

Every time, it doesn't matter if you have absolutely shown him that what he is saying is wrong, he is correct 100% of the time every time and his squad is ready to defend him to the death.īecause of this compulsive need for GOW to be played perfectly, any question asked on the board is followed up with "What's your run coverage?" or "run skeleton". The other part of his quirk is that he is right. To MSK's credit, the man knows GOWIII, he loves it, except he has come to a conclusion that GOWIII can only be played perfectly and any attempt to deviate from this perfection is a travesty. With this constant flooding and the amount of off-topic garbage that comes from asking why MSK is like this or MSK's paragraph long tangent on whatever tiny off-topic thing a poster may have mentioned people begin to leave the GOWIII boards except for speedrunners or people genuinely wanting help. Strangely enough, "Classy Gent" does not obtain these quirks. However none of them will dare to correct spelling or grammar of each other. Hotel_Security and SBK begin also developing this "quirk", so instead of MSK flooding the thread, you now have three people flooding the thread commenting on everything including each other. People get mildly annoyed by this but let it slide because they can scroll past his posts, but with all these corrections and comments a single thread gets FLOODED with his posts and you end up seeing his posts before anyone else. On top of this, he is a stickler for spelling and grammar, making sure to correct every mistake each poster makes. No, of course not, every SENTENCE you post gets a comment. When I say every post, I mean EVERY post, if 100 posts have gone by before his next post, he will quote EACH one and make a comment, and he doesn't make one comment. If anyone makes a single post while he is gone, no matter how innocuous, he quotes the post, condenses it to the main point, and comments. There is also a fourth poster named "Classy_gent"Īfter posting for a few weeks, MSK gains this odd posting quirk. Fast forward about a few months and these three are the best of friends, wherever MSK posts, Hotel and SBK are not far behind and it's reaching the point where they always post one minute apart. As with MrStarKiller (Who I will refer to as MSK from now on), their posts were very innocent. To be quite honest, there was nothing wrong in the beginning, MrStarKiller was a fan of "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" (as you can see from his name) and was active over in that board, and when God Of War III's board opened up he was nowhere to be found, however a few weeks after release he started posting.Īfter a few days of posting, a few other users started to appear, Hotel_Security and SBK91. Also for added fun some of this drama bleeds over to the God of War Ascension board as well. Along side this random assortment of users is a man named MrStarKiller.well one of the names at least. God Of War III released on March of 2010, as with all games around this period, users on GameFAQs flocked to GOWIII specific board to post their excitement over the release. Also excuse me for some incomplete parts, I am trying to piece together posts from 8-9 years ago which may be deleted but majority of content is available for your viewing pleasure This one is wild because it's simultaneously niche but at a completely random whim it could be someone else's problem and is still going on after almost a decade.
